Thank you to everyone who came to help today for our work day! Especially James Gandy who made a long drive to lend us a hand! We got a lot accomplished for our 2026 battle weekend, almost two cords of firewood are ready to go and we have about eight more trees to add to the pile at our next work day!

You’ve all been waiting for our announcement this week so here is one of them…yes we have even more good news but this is a big one!

After years of requests we will be adding on a special area for our littlest battle fans!

We are proud to present “Fort Taylor”! A children’s battlefield experience that is based on education and of course FUN! The schedule below features several events that your kiddos will be able to enjoy including:

🥁 a play battlefield designed with them in mind for free play!
🥁 “Kids Battle” where your children will learn drill techniques and participate in a kid friendly, safe “battle”!
🥁Parents, you will have an area to observe your kiddos as well and relax while they play!

‼️All children must be escorted by a parent or guardian and we will require that hold harmless agreements be signed for participants in the kids battlefield experience.

More details to come! We hope you will be as excited about this addition as we are!
