Frank McLean Forever is a non profit dedicated to advancing awareness and research into sudden unexplained deaths in childhood as well as supporting grief services. Frank McLean Forever’s Mission:

1) Increase awareness of SUDC

2) Fund crucial research into causes and prevention of unexplained pediatric deaths.

3) Support bereaved families and those impacted by unexpected or unexplained loss

4) Celebrate the lives of children gone to soon

Thank you all for supporting Frank’s Chili Fest this year! We had our most successful event yet, which would not be possible without our volunteers, sponsors, donations, vendors, chili chefs, plaza midwood community, and attendees.

‼️This year’s chili fest was in celebration of Bud Tosky and Moses Walsh💛. We raised a grand total of $38,000 and made a grant to the for $25,000‼️

We will see you next year, October 24, 2026!

Our favorite day of the year is over, thank you so much to everyone who came out for some chili, music, donated, and supported our foundation in every way! Thank you to our amazing sponsors, this event is not possible without you. Thank you to our volunteers, local fire department, and police for making this event run smoothly. Thank you to all the amazing chili chefs, your chili was AMAZING!

Frank’s Chili Fest is this Saturday October 18🌶️🎶We can’t wait for another year of chili, music, fun, sun, good vibes, and supporting SUDC.

There will be 26 chili booths, both pro chefs and home chefs. So so much chili to taste! Don’t forget to vote for your favorite chili by placing your bean in the jar at their booth.

We will have three live bands:

There will be three breweries serving up your favorite beers:

There will be over 25 vendors in merchant village promoting their businesses, products, and fun!

This year’s t-shirt will be available for purchase at the event.

If you’re new here, welcome! Frank McLean Forever is a non-profit organization spreading awareness for SUDC and raising money to advance research and assist in family grief support. Franks Chili Fest is an annual street music/chilifestival in celebration of Frank, who tragically passed away in 2019 from SUDC.

We’re keeping the tradition and memories of Frank and other children lost to SUDC alive right here in our community on October 18. What’s YOUR favorite part of chili fest??

2025 t-shirt design is here‼️ we are SO excited about this years design! T-shirt proceeds benefit the SUDC foundation and their work with families navigating unexplained pediatric death.

T-shirts can be purchased at the event, day of. There will be no pre-orders this year.
