🇺🇸 1,200 Flags. 1,200 Tributes. 🇺🇸
This morning, our incredible members came together to transform the clubhouse front median into a breathtaking sea of red, white, and blue. Together, we planted 1,200 USA flags as a living tribute for Memorial Day weekend.
Each flag stands as a solemn thank you to the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Seeing them wave together is a powerful reminder of the cost of our liberty and the strength of our community.
A massive thank you to every single woman who rolled up her sleeves, brought her energy, and helped us honor our nation’s heroes today. Your dedication is what makes this club so special.

DONATE YOUR SPRING CLEANING FOR A GOOD CAUSE! The Woman’s Club of Playa del Rey is having its ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE on May 30 and 31, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. each day. All proceeds benefit Shriner Children’s and Our Big Kitchen. What we don’t sell gets donated to other local agencies.

Please consider donating any items you no longer need. No books or furniture. Everything else is welcome. Please only donate clothing and shoes in gently used condition and electronics that work. We welcome jewelry, handbags, home decor, holiday decor, children’s items, sporting goods, linens, kitchen items, etc.

Donations received on Thursday, May 21 from 10:00a-12:00p

Friday May 22 from 2:00p - 4:00p

Saturday May 23 from 9:00a-12:00p

Monday May 25 from 12:00p-3:00p

Tuesday May 26 from 9:00a-12:00p

Wednesday May 27 from 9:00a-12:00p
