May is Children’s Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

At MHANYS, we believe every child deserves to grow up feeling supported, understood, and emotionally safe. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and early support can make a lasting difference in a child’s life.

This month, we’re highlighting the importance of open conversations, early intervention, and building communities where children feel comfortable expressing how they’re really doing. Whether you’re a parent, educator, caregiver, or ally, you play a role in helping young people feel heard and supported.

Join a webinar under our Mental Health Awareness Month series or join the SMHRTCenter for an upcoming Family Education Webinar or Educator Cafe soon to gather tools, resources, and ways to get involved!
