We would like to take a moment to thank our 911 Dispatchers at Clinton County Missouri Sheriff's Office. These women and men are the calming voice everyone needs when they have to make an emergency call. They are often forgotten as they are behind the scenes. We see you Clinton County 911 Dispatchers and we thank you for your dedication to our citizens. May God continue to bless each of you!

This week, we proudly celebrate National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week!

At the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, our dispatchers are the calm in the chaos, the unseen heroes who answer every call, day or night. They are the first voice you hear in an emergency and the vital link between our community and our responders on the ground.

Whether they’re providing life-saving instructions, coordinating emergency response, or offering reassurance during someone’s worst moment, our telecommunicators show professionalism, compassion, and dedication every single day.

We are incredibly grateful for the hard work, resilience, and heart our team brings to this critical role. Please join us in thanking our dispatchers all week for everything they do to keep Clinton County safe! Feel free to stop in and thank them throughout the week!

🤝 Community Strong in Clinton County!
We want to give a massive THANK YOU to two incredible local partners who are stepping up early to make a difference for our youth.

A huge shoutout to Lathrop Police Chief Nick Neill and Porter’s Ace Hardware Manager Kevin Norris for their proactive work in kicking off fundraising efforts for our 2026 Shop With A Hero program!

Chief Neill took the initiative to coordinate with the team at Porter’s Ace Hardware, ensuring that our upcoming program will have the resources needed to provide a memorable experience for children in our community.

"It is partnerships like these that make the foundation and its programs succeed," said Sheriff AJ Carrel. "When local leadership and local businesses team up, the whole community wins."

We are honored to have the support of Chief Neill and the entire crew at Porter’s Ace Hardware. Together, we’re building a brighter future for Clinton County!

Also, a thank you to Clinton County Leader for the photo and covering all the success this foundation has had in just under a year!

As we ring in 2026, the Board of Directors and Sheriff AJ Carrel want to extend our deepest gratitude to the citizens of Clinton County. This past year marked our inaugural year as a Foundation, and thanks to your incredible support, it has been a resounding success.

Reflecting on Our First Year
In our first year, we set out with a mission to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community. Because of your donations and engagement, we’ve been able to:

• Support Essential Programs: Supplementing equipment and training that keeps our deputies and citizens safer.
• Strengthen Community Ties: Hosting events that allowed our team to connect with the families we serve in a meaningful way.
• Foster Transparency: Building a foundation of trust that ensures Clinton County remains a safe haven for all.

Looking Ahead to 2026
Our resolution for the New Year is simple: To be even stronger. We are committed to expanding our outreach, increasing our support for the Sheriff’s Office, and finding new ways to invest in the safety and well-being of our county. We aren't just a foundation; we are a partnership between the badge and the community.

"The success of our first year is a testament to the character of Clinton County. We are excited to build on this momentum and serve you with even more dedication in the year to come." — Sheriff AJ Carrel

As you celebrate this evening, please do so responsibly. Look out for one another, designate a driver, and let’s ensure everyone starts the new year on a safe note.

Happy New Year, Clinton County!
