Dear Supporters of American Legion Post 97 in Plattsburg, MO,
Thank you to everyone for their support thus far. We have made great progress towards our fundraising goals to repair our roof.
Unfortunately, after a civil engineering inspection of our 100 year old-plus building, we have identified structural issues with our walls requiring us to fix our brick and masonry before moving forward with the original roof repairs. The estimates to make these once-in-a-century masonry repairs effectively will double the cost of the needed repairs to our building.

If you are in the local area join us this evening for the Auxiliary potato bar from 5-8pm. Likewise, please come next Saturday, 14 March, at 1pm to our 2nd annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and corned beef dinner. We will also have Irish-style craft beer for sampling.
