Platte County Tea Fundraiser for the Arts The Platte County Tea is a fundraiser to benefit the local arts. The 2026 Tea will be the 10th and the theme will be "Tea on Broadway, Act II".

The Tea Committee worked together last evening building these cute silent auction groupings. And these are just the gift cards+. The auction will also have larger, separate items including stained glass art, a rolling suitcase, and many large themed baskets!!

And guess what! Owner/Chef Peyton Itao, was a 2019 PCHS grad! Peyton treated some of the tea planning committee to a tasting of the below foods created and named for this year's tea theme. We are sure you will enjoy her "from scratch" tea foods! They tasted as delicious as they looked beautiful 😍😋

1st announcement for Tea on Broadway, Act II: This is the 10th year for the Platte County Tea and Adventures with Tea, Alan and Marlys Arnold have provided the featured tea each year! This year's featured tea will be "Savannah's Lemon Meringue". It will be served hot in teapots at the tea tables and iced at the tea refill station. It is an "ENCORE" tea, because it was enjoyed at our 2018 Tea! 🫖

Wonderful plans are in process for the upcoming 10th annual Platte County Tea. Each year the tea has a different theme and this year it is "Tea on Broadway, Act II". The tea table hostesses will be decorating their table representing a Broadway Show. This fundraiser tea raises funds to continue the "free" quality arts programs and experiences for the community, including the 50 member Platte City Community Band, a $1,000 Fine Arts College Scholarship, Summer Music on the Courthouse Lawn, Visual Arts Displays, support of the fine arts in our schools and more.
Would you be an Event Sponsor for the Tea? There are three options to select from. And there is one opportunity for a bar sponsor. The sooner you commit support, the more we can recognize your support with appreciation posts through social media and more.
