The Platte City Community Band recently lost one of their musicians, Darrell Willson, who played percussion. This piece was played tonight during the World Make Music Day event in Darrell’s memory:
“Blessed Are They, from A German Requiem by Johannes Brahms, arranged by Barbara Buehlman”
(Notice the birds in the lawn trees singing along 🕊️🎶)

Note: this was not a rehearsed concert; this was an opportunity to sight-read and enjoy making music together knowing others around the world were doing the same! 😃
