Thanks to everyone who came out for the 4th of July! 🇺🇸

We had a great day celebrating together — good food, good people, and plenty of fun. Whether you stopped in for lunch, caught the derby, or just came to hang out, we appreciate you being part of it.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you again next year.

🇺🇸🔥 Platte Center 4th of July — Lunch + Demo Derby 🔥🇺🇸

Platte Center Rescue is serving up a 4th of July lunch from 11 AM–1 PM at the Platte Center Auditorium. Pulled pork, hot dogs, baked beans, mac salad, chips, a drink, and an ice cream bar.
Adults: $10 | Kids 4–10: $5

Then head over to the Platte Center Demo Derby, hosted by the Platte Center Volunteer Fire Department, starting at 2 PM. Big payouts across multiple classes, Kids Power Wheels before the main event, a Lakeview lunch stand, and a beer garden with music after the derby.
General Admission: $20 | 10 & Under: Free

If you’re in town, come eat, cheer, and celebrate the 250th Independence Day with the community. 🇺🇸
