👑✨ IT’S PAGEANT WEEK! ✨👑

We are so excited for the 2026 International Acadian Festival Pageant! As we get ready for the big day, here are a few friendly reminders to help everything run smoothly! 💕

📍 Location: KC Hall on Price Street in Plaquemine

🕐 Time: Saturday, October 24th at 1:00 PM

🎟️ Admission: $5 per person. Each contestant and one parent will receive free admission.

👑 Contestant Numbers: Numbers will be given to contestants when their group is called to line up. Numbers will NOT be distributed beforehand.

✅ Check-In: There is NO sign-in process! Simply arrive on time and listen for your group to be called to line up.

⏰ Punctuality: Please be on time! Contestants who arrive after their group has already appeared on stage will be disqualified.

👣 Stage Walk: X’s will be marked on the floor to guide contestants where to walk and where to stop. Simply follow the X’s!

📸 Photogenic Pictures: All photogenic pictures will be judged ahead of time, prior to pageant. Pictures will be available for pickup at a designated table inside the KC Hall during the pageant. Please remember to pick up your pictures before leaving!

💕 Good Sportsmanship: Good sportsmanship and respectful behavior are expected from ALL contestants and guests. Let’s make this a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone!

🚫 Judges: Please DO NOT approach the judges’ table at ANY time — before, during, or after the pageant.

👑 Winners: Pageant winners are invited to ride in the Acadian Festival parade the following weekend. Please reach out to festival page if questions.

📱 Questions on Pageant Day: I will NOT be checking emails or messages on pageant day and will have limited access to my phone. However, if you have any questions or concerns, please find me at the pageant! I’ll be more than happy to help!

Today is your first of ONLY two registration days to enter to compete in this years Acadian Festival Pageant.

I will be at the KC Hall on Price st in Plaquemine until 11am. Please bring your picture for photogenic and fee of $50 and I’ll provide the registration form!

You final day to enter will be next Saturday from 9am-11am at the KC Hall as well. After this registration will be CLOSED.

Please note* The entrance for registration is at the back side door of the KC Hall.

If you do not bring picture with you at time of registration you will not be able to compete in photogenic.

Cash or check made payable to KC 970 is accepted.

👑 PAGEANT REGISTRATION IS THIS SATURDAY! 👑

This Saturday marks the FIRST of only TWO registration days for the International Acadian Festival Pageant! We can’t wait to see everyone!

⏰ 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
💰 Registration Fee: $50

What to bring:
$50 registration fee
A photo if you wish to participate in the Photogenic competition
All registration forms will be provided at registration.

📸 IMPORTANT: If you plan to enter Photogenic, you MUST bring your photo at the time of registration. Photos will not be accepted afterward, and you will not be eligible to participate without one.

🚪 PLEASE NOTE: Registration will take place at the BACK SIDE ENTRANCE of the KC Hall. Please do not use the front entrance.

🗓️ Can't make it this Saturday? Our second and FINAL registration day will be Saturday, October 10th!

Registration will be held in person on two separate days at the KC Hall on Price St. in Plaquemine on Saturday October 3rd and Saturday October 10th from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Please bring your photogenic picture with you to complete registration form provided. No late pictures will be accepted. Registration will be closed October 10th NO EXCEPTIONS! Payments must also be received at time of registration, or the registration will not be accepted.
