The Most Worshipful Grand Master Ralph Slaughter, District Deputy Charles S. Williams, and Asst. District Deputy Jason Russ with the 2nd place Winner of The Grand Lodge Oratorical Contest, John Deggs, Jr. who represented Widow Son Lodge No. 10 and District #4. As Worshipful Master of Widow Son Lodge NO. 10, I am grateful to be apart of this process.

Today Widow Son Lodge No. 10 and Tempie Chapter #58 deliver care bags to the elderly at Our House of Respite Senior Care Home. We did not take photos of them out of respect but the staff and all were grateful. Just to let them know we cared.

Today Widow Son Lodge No. 10 and Tempie Chapter #58 participated in the STOP the Violence March in Plaquemine, La with local community leaders, Ministers, fraternities, sororities, Sheriff Office, DA Office , and others to help try and keep the community safe and bring awareness to crime and violence. We are our community.

At it's 140th Year Anniversary Sit-In Service, Widow Son Lodge NO. 10 presented its 1st Annual Henderson Jackson, Jr & Huey Johnson, Sr. 2022 Scholarship of $500 to John Deggs, Jr. of Plaquemine High School. We also want to thank Tempie Chapter Order of Eastern Stars who came out and celebrated our Anniversary with us. Thank you to all who played a part in this celebration.
