Our Story

Begin To Serve Foundation - Fighting World Hunger One Mouth At a Time.

Tribal India is one of the most unequal countries in the sub-region. Having over 162 different tribes, they are highly vulnerable to climatic, social shocks, economic depression leading to severe poverty.

Population of India 2019: Looking into the latest UN data, the approximate population of India is 1,350,438,098. The population of India is rising at alarming rate and this is why the country is known as the second most populous country in the world after China.

Begin To Serve Foundation, currently serves many tribal Indians living in the poor regions of Odisha State (formerly Orissa-Population-42 million), an eastern Indian state on the Bay of Bengal, is known for its tribal cultures and its many ancient Hindu temples. The capital, Bhubaneswar, is home to hundreds of temples, notably the intricately-carved Mukteshvara. The Lingaraj Temple complex, dating to the 11th century, is set around sacred Bindusagar Lake. The Odisha State Museum is focused on the area’s history and environment.

How we serve- Presently building water wells to provide drinking water, fresh water for domestic needs (laundry, bath etc.0. Many still share the rivers with the animals living there.

Our wells currently provides water for about 2, 000 people, however we plan on constructing many more in the days and months ahead. We welcome partnerships that will help to accomplish these objectives. We’ve also embarked on providing a chicken programs, from which eggs and a future supply of chickens will be provided for food.

Begin To Serve leadership believes healthy villages need food producing seeds to grow crops season after season, to provide food for present and future generations. We are presently preparing fields to plant seeds to ensure overlapping crops are engaged to provide a continuous supply of food. Your donation of any amount will be very helpful in this process.
