Teen Peace Ambassador Leadership Summit - PALS PALS provides teens a week of college life and interactive and socially relevant workshops that chall

With diversity, equity, and inclusion at its forefront, PALS prepares teens to be socially responsible leaders. Students are trained to think critically about relevant social issues, learn how to access resources, apply practical leadership skills, receive coaching from college advisors and financial aid representatives, and earn service hours. Upon completing this program, many youth participate

in the nine-month program offered throughout the school year in order to become official NVEEE Peace Ambassadors, further paving the way for them to be peer mentors and powerful advocates for change in their communities. Dates for the 2022 Peace Ambassador Leadership Summit (PALS)

June 19-25 - University of Central Florida - Orlando, FL
$750 (includes dorm housing, meals, and all program costs)
50 Service Hours
Leadership Track: Career, Social, and Life Skills Development

July 17-24 - Florida International University
$750 (includes dorm housing, meals, and all program costs)
60 Service Hours
Leadership Track: Personal Development through Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. August 3-7 - Georgetown University
$1200 (includes dorm housing, meals, and all program costs)
40 Service Hours
Leadership Track: Civic Engagement and Social Impact. Other Topics Include:

This teen dream team crushed their 5-day startup assignment at the Peace Ambassador Leadership Summit (PALS) — hosted by National Voices for Equality Education and Enlightenment - NVEEE

🎯 Their mission:
Work as a startup team.
Design a product or campaign that reflects NVEEE’s mission (empathy, leadership, mental health, and more).

Create a powerful 2-minute PSA to pitch it.
Do it all in just 5 days. 😳(stats are made up)

💡 Their solution? KURRENT.
A student-led app breaking down social issues into bite-sized, relatable info for Gen Z. Because understanding the world shouldn’t be confusing, it should be empowering.

💡 Did you know? Thousands of students are facing unprecedented challenges like bullying, mental health struggles, and societal pressures. This Give Miami Day, YOU have the power to give them the tools to thrive.

For over 15 years, (National Voices for Equality, Education, and Enlightenment (NVEEE)) has been a lifeline for youth. Through programs like the Peace Ambassador Leadership Program (PALP), Peace Ambassador Leadership Summit (PALS), Affirm, and our College Internship Program, we’ve empowered students to build confidence, lead with resilience, and create real change in their communities.

📊 This year alone, NVEEE has:

✅ Hosted 200 students at PALS across four prestigious locations: Georgetown University, FIU, UF, and UCF.

✅ Supported 90 youth leaders in a 9-month leadership program (PALP).

✅ Recognized 75 students with Presidential Volunteer Service Awards for 22,756 hours of community service.

✅ Prepared 132 college interns for the workforce with hands-on experience.
