Founded in 2018, the Plantation Forum promotes City oriented topics designed to keep Residents informed by offering a platform for reasoned discussion of current issues affecting the residents of Plantation.
Since our 1st event we have been dedicated to the task of establishing the tradition of debate and discussion. Our goal is to keep residents informed in the political processes and on current issues in Plantation, some of our activities includes voter registration drives, Candidate Forums, Town Halls, Facebook live conversations with candidates and livestreaming of City events and meetings to encourage and foster community participation and awareness.
The Plantation Forum is a non-partisan, Florida, not-for-profit corporation. We do not take positions on issues and are open to the public. There is no cost or obligation associated with attendance to our events.
We commit ourselves to advancing the participation of Plantation Residents in the candidate selection and voting process.
We understand that it is our responsibility as citizens to keep government responsible and transparent on every level -and we are ready for that challenge.
We need volunteer sponsors who can contribute to offset the production and broadcasting costs. We are asking for your help in funding this project.
