This April marks 24 years since the brutal israeli invasion and attack on the Jenin Camp in 2002. Mohammed Bakri's "Jenin, Jenin" documents various testimonies of Palestinian men, women, and children who witnessed the assault.

"Jenin, Jenin" explores themes of the psychological and physical impact of prolonged israeli aggression and occupation on Palestinians across all ages and backgrounds.

Our Florida delegation, nearly 50 advocates strong from South, Central, and North Florida regions, joined over 600 advocates from across the nation in Washington, D.C. for the 11th annual Palestine Advocacy Days hosted by and .

Over the past days, we met with elected officials to stand up for justice and advocate for Palestinian rights, including:

1. The release of 16-year-old U.S. citizen Mohammed Ibrahim from Israeli military prison
2. Join the campaign
3. The restoration of UNRWA funding
4. Defending our First Amendment rights against Zionist-led attacks on free speech
5. And stopping Israeli settlements in the West Bank, Palestine

We learned, connected, and built power with amazing people from across the country.

Yesterday, we gathered to welcome back Egan, a Tampa local who was aboard the Roh Al Roh (Soul of My Soul) as part of the Thousand Madleens Flotilla, a courageous international coalition sailing to deliver basic humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.

The flotilla’s mission was to break the siege and deliver food and medicine to families facing an engineered famine and ongoing genocide, war crimes committed in plain sight by Israel with international complicity. Israeli occupation forces abducted and imprisoned the crew for bringing life-saving aid before reaching Gaza.

Egan’s safe return reminds us that solidarity is powerful and that the struggle for Palestinian liberation continues. From Tampa to Palestine, occupation is a crime.
