CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: SHORT COMEDY PLAYS
The Not Your Average Theater Group is now accepting submissions from South Florida Playwrights for our upcoming comedy short play festival of 10-minute plays to feature in The Summer Short Plays Festival, taking place in July 2026 at the Soref JCC in Plantation, FL. Plays should only feature characters forty years old and up, simple sets, props, and costumes.
Submission Details:
Open to South Florida Playwrights
Length: 10-minute plays approximately
Submit up to 3 plays per playwright.
Submission Window: now until May 1st, 2026
A small stipend will be paid to playwrights whose plays are selected.
