This video is a powerful example of what intentional collaboration and workforce development can accomplish. We are incredibly grateful to work alongside OnBoard Tampa Bay and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to create life-changing opportunities for our students and community members through the Future Career Academy program.

This success is the direct result of schools, industry leaders, and community partners coming together with a shared commitment to building meaningful career pathways and strengthening our future workforce. Through the Future Career Academy, students are gaining exposure, connections, and real opportunities that are changing lives and opening doors to high-demand careers across our region.

This week has been filled with incredible celebrations across Hillsborough County Public Schools as we honored students during FCA Signing Days at Alonso, Sickles, Lennard, King, and Spoto High School! 🎉

Each event was uniquely special, bringing together families, educators, employers, military representatives, apprenticeship partners, and community leaders to celebrate students who have developed a plan for life after graduation and committed to their future through employment, enrollment, enlistment, and skilled trades apprenticeship opportunities.

From students stepping directly into the workforce and apprenticeship pathways in the trades, to those committing to college programs and military service, every commitment represented hard work, determination, and a vision for the future. These celebrations continue to highlight the many successful pathways available to students as they transition from high school into meaningful careers and continued education.

We are incredibly grateful to our school teams, business partners, trade organizations, military partners, families, and community supporters who continue investing in our students and helping make these moments possible. Most importantly, we are proud of every student who took this important step toward their future. Your dedication, growth, and commitment inspire us all!

Our CEO, Yvonne Fry, and Chief of Staff, Chrissy Lewis, were grateful for the opportunity to present, thanks to an invitation from The Mosaic Company, to leaders across the phosphate industry.

We were also honored to present alongside Crystal Bryant, Human Resources Global Process Owner at The Mosaic Company.

It was a meaningful gathering of industry organizations where we were able to share more about our work while also listening and learning about workforce needs and the innovative ways companies are investing in the future of their talent pipeline.

Today at Riverview High School, future plans became reality! 🎉

We celebrated seniors as they committed to their next steps. Being recognized in front of their peers, including both juniors and seniors, created a ripple effect of awareness, inspiration, and urgency around what is possible after high school with the Future Career Academy.

Moments like this are only possible because of our dedicated partners and the collective commitment to our students’ futures.
A special thank you to Geraldine and Christopher from Moffitt Cancer Center for showing up with excitement and support as they welcomed their newest transporter—such a meaningful moment for both the student and their future team. Congratulations Taylor on this wonderful opportunity and start to your healthcare career!

We also want to recognize SSG Mendoza, who stood proudly beside Christopher, his newest U.S. Army recruit, celebrating not only his commitment to serve, but also his incredibly high ASVAB score—proof that his career possibilities are truly endless. Thank you for your service!

Yesterday’s experience at the Before the Movement: Immersive Luncheon with Madi's Movement left a lasting impact on our team.

We heard real stories from young adults who have aged out of foster care—stories that brought both awareness and urgency to the challenges they face when support systems fall away.
It was powerfully delivered, intentionally designed, and impossible to ignore.

A heartfelt thank you to Effie Santos for inviting us to be part of this experience and for helping bring this important work to light.

We’re grateful for organizations like Madi’s Movement who are not only raising awareness, but actively creating pathways of support, stability, and opportunity—and we’re proud to continue growing alongside this work in ways that create real impact for the young people we serve.

This is work that matters—and it calls all of us to be part of the solution.

An evening centered on purpose, partnership, and possibility.

Last night at The Gathering for Good…for Education, our team had the privilege of being in the room—and contributing to the conversation—alongside so many organizations and leaders dedicated to supporting students and strengthening our community.

What stood out most was the shared commitment to collaboration. Bringing together education-focused nonprofits, partners, and community leaders in one space created a powerful reminder that meaningful impact is built through connection and alignment.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of this work and to continue building relationships with others who are equally committed to creating stronger, more connected pathways for those we serve.

🎉 Signing Day at Gaither High School! 🎉

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to celebrate an incredible group of seniors who are officially taking their next steps after graduation!

From employment and training programs to continued education and military enlistment, these students are turning their plans into action—and we couldn’t be more proud.

Each student demonstrated initiative, determination, and a clear commitment to building a strong future. Their success reflects not only their hard work, but also the support of school leadership, their engagement in the Future Career Academy, and the strength of our community partnerships.

We are especially grateful to Gaither’s Principal, Dr. Jeremy Klein, and FCA Lead Mrs. Christina Wilkes for the strong culture they’ve built on campus—one that deeply supports our shared mission of preparing and connecting seniors to great jobs and training opportunities in their community, and ensuring students leave high school with a clear, actionable plan for their future.

A special thank you to the Florida Army National Guard Recruiting & Retention and the National Aviation Academy for joining us to celebrate and support students at their Signing Day!
