EMERGE Plant City provides young professionals with business networking connections that inspire, enrich and develop individuals both personally and professionally. Created as a rebranding of the former young professionals' group Rise Plant City, the goal of EMERGE Plant City is to connect young professionals and local businesses with opportunities in our town. By forming connections between these
groups, EMERGE Plant City seeks to develop an ever-growing network of support to current and future local leaders for generations to come. The launch of EMERGE Plant City was spearheaded by a steering committee of local Plant City business owners and leaders, including Paul Conley (Executive Director, Plant City Family YMCA), Sophia Hyde (BUSINESS/ORG), Elizabeth Oeltjenbruns (Owner, Center for Practical Management), Alyssa Piccari (BUSINESS/ORG) Jerilyn Rumbarger (Executive Director, Plant City Main Street) and Randon Trowbridge (Owner, Blue Thumb Computer Repair). Members of EMERGE will have access to events throughout the year focused on their personal and professional growth. These include monthly discussions with local business owners, an interview series with successful Plant City leaders, networking opportunities, mentorship programs, and more. Our vision is to support future Plant City leaders with the tools they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives to make a better, stronger city for us all.
