Curiosity was high, questions were endless, and our scholars were fully engaged from beginning to end!

Recently, our scholars had the incredible opportunity to visit the Lexus Headquarters and experience what it means to lead with purpose, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Throughout the day, they explored the worlds of engineering and customer service while learning about the Kaizen philosophy—the idea that small, intentional improvements can lead to extraordinary results over time. They asked thoughtful questions, connected with professionals across departments, and left with a deeper understanding of the many career paths available to them.

Experiences like these do more than introduce scholars to different industries; they help expand possibilities, spark new interests, and remind students that they belong in every room they walk into.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire Lexus team for welcoming our scholars with such intentionality, generosity, and care. Your willingness to share your experiences and invest in the next generation made this day truly unforgettable.

And thank you to Campus Reels for beautifully capturing these moments and preserving the excitement, curiosity, and joy our scholars experienced throughout the day!

A day of hospitality, leadership, and inspiration at Hilton Day!

Our Uplift Wisdom 11th grade scholars had the incredible opportunity to spend the day at the Hilton Anatole, where they were welcomed not just as students — but as honored guests.

Throughout the experience, scholars toured the hotel and explored the many departments that keep a world-class hospitality operation running. From culinary and guest services to operations and leadership, each stop gave scholars a behind-the-scenes look into the hospitality industry while hearing directly from employees about their career journeys, advice for post-grad success, and the importance of leadership and service.

The day was filled with engaging conversations, interactive trivia, laughter, and special gifts that made the experience even more memorable for our scholars.
A huge thank you to the entire Hilton Anatole team for continuing to pour into our students with such intentionality, excellence, and care. Opportunities like these help our scholars see what’s possible for their future and remind them that they belong in every room they step into.

We are deeply grateful for this partnership and the impact it continues to make on the lives of our scholars! This would mark our fourth Hilton Day!

The Melville Family Foundation was honored to attend the Nationa Day of Prayer at Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. A meaningful gathering centered on faith, gratitude, service, and community connection!

We were grateful to gather alongside valued community partners, including Byron K. Sanders, Aaron Alexander of Hope Fellowship, Celeste Sanders, Robert Jordan, Angela Linz of Hope Fellowship, Carlton Oby of Mercy Street Dallas, Major Carolynn Webb and Major Robert Webb of The Salvation Army.

Also present, though not pictured in the group photo, were Sam Flores of Mercy Street, and Julie Diaz of The Dallas Foundation.

The day reminded us that prayer and service remain deeply connected as we work together to strengthen families, organizations, and communities.
