Pool Closure Notice

The Townbluff community pool has been temporarily closed.

A detailed email explaining the reason for the closure and the inspection findings will be sent to all homeowners today by RealManage.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time. The Board will continue to evaluate the situation and will keep the community updated as additional information becomes available.

Fireworks are NOT permitted at Townbluff Condominiums.

The City of Plano prohibits the use, possession, sale, and storage of consumer fireworks within the city limits and within 5,000 feet outside the city limits where applicable. Violations may result in fines of up to $2,000 per offense.

You can report anonymously, if you witness fireworks being used on the property, please report it to the Plano Police Department Non-Emergency Line: (972) 424-5678.

Pool Update – Fourth of July Weekend

We are pleased to share that the pool is now open and ready for residents to enjoy over the Fourth of July weekend.

We also want to keep everyone informed that the pool inspector will be returning later this month for a follow-up inspection. There are a few minor items that still need to be completed, and we are actively working with our vendors to address them as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue making improvements to ensure the pool remains safe and in compliance. We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July!

Unfortunately, the pool has been temporarily closed due to a newly discovered safety concern. A damaged area has been identified on the pool floor surface that requires inspection and repair. The Board has contacted management and the contractor, and we will provide updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The Pool Pre-inspection has been completed. We are currently pending the full report outlining the minor items that will be addressed. Once the report is received and we have confirmed with our selected vendor to complete the necessary work, residents will be notified via real manage with full disclosure of the inspection findings, planned course of action, and repair date as soon as the information is available. Due to privacy, limited info will be provided via Facebook groups and the Information Board on property, located in the mailbox area. Thank you to Marilyn Placido for assisting the board and conferencing me via phone to address the issue. It would not have happened without you!!

Greetings, Residents of Townbluff. We understand your concerns regarding the pool and appreciate your patience. During last year’s inspection, several items were identified that required repair, including tile, lighting, and resurfacing. These are significant repairs, and, along with the pool's age, additional components have also required attention.

In addition, the Association made a one-time insurance payment when transitioning to a new provider to reduce long-term costs. costs. While this was a necessary financial decision, it has impacted the timing of completing all pool-related repairs.

The Board has completed the bid-gathering process and is in the final stages of selecting a vendor to proceed with the remaining work. We are also awaiting the most recent inspection report to confirm all required items.

We understand how important the pool is to the community and are working diligently to resolve all issues so it can be opened safely and in compliance with regulations. We will keep you updated with the progress.
