October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. stands with survivors, honors those whose lives have been lost to domestic violence, and remains committed to promoting safety, healing, and accountability.
Domestic violence is not always physical. Abuse can take many forms, including emotional, psychological, financial, and digital abuse. This month, we encourage our communities to turn awareness into action:

• Know the signs and share trusted resources.
• Create a safety plan and check in on someone you care about.
• Keep these confidential, 24/7 resources available: Call 1-800-799-SAFE (7233), text START to 88788, or visit The Hotline to chat online. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
• Share this message to remind someone that they are seen, believed, and supported.

Our legacy is service. Our commitment is to stand with survivors and support safer, healthier communities.

Yesterday was nothing short of amazing! 💗
We showed up, we stood strong, and we walked with purpose for impact. 6,000 Sisters, 6,000 Steps, and we were in the fight, in the walk, and committed to the goal.
Every step represented awareness, strength, hope, survival, and remembrance. We walked in honor of those we have lost, in support of those still fighting, and in celebration of the survivors among us, including our very own Sorors whose strength reminds us why every step matters.
💗 We walked for awareness.💙
💗 We walked for those still fighting.💛
💗 We walked in remembrance.💙
💗 We walked with our SURVIVORS.💛
Yesterday wasn't just about getting in 6,000 steps. It was about who we were taking those steps for.💙
6,000 Sisters. 6,000 Steps. One Fight. One Purpose. One powerful show of Sisterhood. 💗💙💛

The LUS Family showed up to join the fight against childhood cancer! 💙💛

Bringing awareness. Supporting the cause. Putting in the work, one step at a time. 👟

From the way we STARTED to the way we FINISHED, we walked with purpose, knowing every step represented something bigger than ourselves.

We showed up. We stepped up. We walked for St. Jude.
