Republic of Pi

Republic of Pi A FIRST LEGO League friends and family team based in Plano, TX. We like Robotics, Scouting and Legos. Visit with us at http://republicofpi.org/

Our team started in August 2011 as "Model Scouts" with Katie as a Girl Scout Take Action Project Her brother Matthew joined the team about 1 minute after Katie showed him the FLL website. They invited friends to join them and the team was born. All of the team members are current or former scouts (Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Cub Scouts) and enjoy LEGO® models. We were getting confused with the

TV show "Model Scouts" so we updated our team name to be "Model Scout Robotics" in May 2012. Then most of the team members got too busy for scouting, so the team changed its name to "Republic of Pi" in 2013.
