For this , we are looking at the long, patient journey of our resident queen, Bernie. 👑🐾 Bernie has been part of the Abandoned Pet Project family since 2020, which is nearly four years of waiting for a "Forever" that hasn't arrived yet. While she is safe in a foster home, it is no substitute for a real home where she can stretch out on a rug and receive unlimited belly rubs knowing she will be there forever. Justice for Bernie means finding that one special family who sees her loyalty and understands that "long-stay" just means she has even more love saved up to give. Every day she spends in boarding is a day our mission's funds are tied up, so help us find Bernie the throne she deserves!

This athletic Lab mix is the perfect partner for anyone looking to stay active and enjoy the beautiful DFW spring weather. He’s been working on his focus and his manners, and he is officially ready to graduate from boarding and move into a home.
