The North Texas chapter of ANPA was formed in 2000 with the following goals in mind.

1) To foster the personal and professional growth of its members through comradery and unselfish exchange of ideas.
2) To promote continuing education, professionalism, and scholarship among its members.
3) To promote bonding and friendship among all Nigerian physicians living in the North Texas Community.
4) T

o identify and stimulate interest in all matters affecting the health of Nigerians both in and outside of Nigeria.
5) To provide the forum for debating and solving health issues affecting all Nigerians.
