Our current, and retired members of Plano LAFS want to send our heartfelt prayers to Miss Sally Vachon Magnuson and her family and friends as she passed away recently. Many things come and go in the public education world, new jokes, skits and different messages. One thing that remained consistent was Sally making sure she attended at minimum one program a year.
Sally wasn't just a former city council member, or a regular visitor at our Plano Fire-Rescue stations, but a cherished friend and family member to our Plano LAFS group. Throughout the years she would laugh, provide feedback, and take genuine interest in our lives and our familes away from the fire house.
Sally we pray and hope you are at peace and Thank you for always being in the crowd showing your support. You will absolutely be missed, and we are thankful to have been a story in your wonderful book of life.
As we looked through pictures we found a few with Sally in them, but have so many more with her behind the lens. Below are just a few over the years. But as they say photographs fade, but memories are forever. Thank you and we will miss you Miss Sally.
