Howdy Swim Fans ~

Hope this finds you all healthy and staying safe during this crazy covid time we're in. I sure do miss seeing all of you!

Some of you may have received the email from Plano Parks & Rec today with their update on how they will gradually be opening up parts of their facilities next month. The pools that do open will be very limited hours and only 1 person per lane for lap swim. However, group activities and team events are not among the openings. Special Olympics has also cancelled team sports and events thru July. So...that being said Team Plano swimming is not going to happen this year 😢. Makes my heart sad that we wont be getting together this season, but knowing this too shall pass and there are brighter days ahead keeps me in check.

I've included the link to Special Olympics digital program, S.O. Connected, that offers exercise classes, live bingo games and more to help give alternative activities to our athletes during this shelter in place time.
