🐾 Meet Newt! 🐾

Say hello to Newt, affectionately known as “Newtling”! 💙 This sweet, petite little gentleman is searching for a forever family to call his own.

Newt’s journey began when he was orphaned and brought into foster care. While he can be a little shy at first, he has a heart full of love and quickly makes friends wherever he goes. 🥰 He gets along wonderfully with kittens, cats, and even large dogs in his foster home.

One of Newt’s cutest quirks is his adorable tippy-toe walk when he’s seeking attention. ✨ He absolutely loves scratches and pets, and if you oblige, he’ll reward you with his famous “sky-high booty” pose or brace himself dramatically for maximum petting enjoyment! 😹

Newt enjoys playing and exploring, but he’s not overly energetic. He’s the perfect mix of playful and laid-back, making him an excellent companion for a calm and loving home. 🏡❤️

The Melon Dash is just one week away on Saturday, June 20th, and we’re still looking for volunteers to help us reach our goal of 25 volunteers.

If you’ve ever adopted from ARC, fostered for us, volunteered, donated, shared our posts, or simply cheered us on from afar, we’d be so grateful if you could join us for a few hours that morning.🩵🩵

Running is NOT required! We just need helping hands. It’s an early morning start, but it’s also an early finish, and it’s actually a lot of fun!

Many people don’t realize that Run Project is one of our rescue’s biggest supporters. They have donated so much to help the cats and kittens in our care over the years. Volunteering at their events is one of the ways we can show our appreciation while helping ensure they continue to support local rescue organizations like ours.

👑🐾 Meet Catarina 🐾👑
DOB: 10/07/2019

For years, Catarina has been patiently waiting in foster care, dreaming of a forever home to call her own. This beautiful tortie princess was heartbreakingly abandoned when her previous owner moved away. When she was found, she was still faithfully guarding the home she once knew, waiting for the family that never came back.

She truly deserves a happily ever after.

Like any proper tortie queen, Catarina appreciates being treated with respect. She enjoys gentle head pets, but only after granting permission. Once you’ve earned her trust, she’ll greet you with the sweetest chirps and squeaks and happily share her quiet companionship.

Her favorite pastime is lounging by the window, watching birds and squirrels while keeping a watchful eye on her kingdom. 🐦🌳
