Collin County Council on Family Violence (CCCFV) strengthens collaborative, professional partnerships and serves as a catalyst for a sustained movement against family violence in Collin County. The Collin County Council on Family Violence (CCCFV) was founded after the Junior League of Plano began researching the issue of family violence in Collin County in 1999. Our member organizations provide me

ntal health, law enforcement, legal and faith services in Collin County. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at the Junior League of Collin County office in Plano and host our annual conference each October.

Join us for a powerful and eye-opening conversation about the effects of family violence and the silent struggles so many endure from educator Sherri Callahan. Too often, survivors live in silence, carrying the weight of fear, shame, and pain long after the harm has ended. This discussion will explore how family violence affects every part of a person’s life (emotionally, mentally, and even physically), and what we can do as a community to support healing and hope.

📢 Supporting Survivors: Protecting Victims of Domestic Violence

DVU Felony Prosecutor Paige Test spoke to Collin County Council on Family Violence about the various forms of protection available for victims. The discussion brought together victim advocates from multiple police agencies, social workers from family violence organizations, and attorneys from legal aid organizations—all working toward the common goal of safety and justice.

If you or someone you know needs help, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 at 800-799-7233 or by texting "START" to 88788.

You are not alone. 💜
