— Pray that all students would continue living out true discipleship in everyday life.

The joy of the Lord is not optional, and it far outweighs our suffering!

It is a defining pillar of the Kingdom of God which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom. 14:17).

In Jesus, joy becomes our motivation, reward and spiritual weapon.

In His Presence is fullness of joy (Ps. 16:11), and even in times of trouble our joy knows no bounds (2 Cor. 7:4).

Therefore, day by day, we intentionally cultivate our joy in the Lord in the secret place, in prayer, in studying his Word, and in communion with his church.

Today in our devotional time at Fornalha, we are meditating in Isaiah.

"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." — Isaiah 40:28-31

We ask: "What does this passage teach me about God? What does this passage teach me about myself?" and make the space to truly listen.

The Lord is faithful to speak, to minister, and to transform. Please pray that the Lord would complete His work in and through us as Fornalha comes to an end soon, and KENOSIS School continues!

We serve the broken, poor and needy, not in pity or sorrow but with holy compassion and the expectation of revival.

One life transformed by the power of God can break generational cycles of abuse, neglect, and sinfulness.

We see the least of these as history makers, reformers, leaders and lovers in waiting.

We meet them in their current state of suffering and pain, but we choose to see them through the holes in Jesus’ hands —

and He has already paid the price for their freedom, restoration, and wholeness.

We value hard work, honesty, and good stewardship. We will always be willing to do our part, but we know that all good things come from the Father and that he will provide far beyond the fruits of our labors (James 1:17, Eph. 3:20).

Fornalha is happening now!

Fornalha is a 15-day intensive school designed to unite these aspects of the Christian life, demonstrating in practice how to advance God’s Kingdom and grow in commitment to the preaching of the Gospel.

We are looking for Kingdom dreamers who are ready to partner with us to end prostitution in our lifetime.

And it starts with love—the kind only Father God can give.

Twice a week, our team goes into the red-light district to meet women and men where they are. We speak truth and value over them in our often limited opportunities and pray for more doors to open for deeper connection. From there, we can build relationships outside the street.

Those ready for more are welcomed into one-on-one discipleship, where they begin a journey of identity and healing in Christ. We host lavish banquets and coffee breaks, where women are honored, celebrated, and reminded they are deeply loved daughters—

not forgotten, but chosen.

When we find ourselves overwhelmed by the needs of our community and the world, we are reminded of how Jesus walked.

He stayed diligent in his mission, but He also rested.
He reached many, but faithfully poured into a few.
He taught adults, but was never too busy for children.

Remember that what you're doing for one matters and, in the Lord's hands, truly multiplies for His glory.
