Here is what you need to know from our last meeting, which was held Wednesday, August 19th, 2026:
*Thank you to the Spirit Fest Committee for a very successful event! We look forward to watching this event continue to grow
*We are seeking a committee of interested individuals who would like to help brainstorm and organize ideas for the path to the park/extended bike path. This can be anyone in our community, and we would like representation from a wide variety of government entities and organizations. If you can assist with grants or working with a grant writer, please reach out!
*Next meeting will be at APA at noon on September 23rd-watch your email for details on that!
*Please pay your dues; for a business, it is $35, and $10 for an individual. There is no paperwork, and this will keep you in the know about what is happening with the Plankinton Service Club and our local events!

Due to the current dry conditions and out of concern for the safety of our community, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the fireworks show.

While we're disappointed that we won't be able to close out Spirit Fest with our fireworks celebration, we believe this is the right decision. We sincerely thank everyone for their understanding and support.

A special thank you goes to our generous fireworks sponsors. Your support means so much to our community, and we are grateful for your commitment to making Spirit Fest a memorable event. We are working with the City to schedule the fireworks for a future date so we can all enjoy the show together when conditions are safe.

Spirit Fest is still happening, and we hope you'll join us for a full day of fun! Be sure to check out the Vendor Fair, Farmers Market, Sidewalk Sales, Car & Tractor Show, Pickleball, Kids Fishing, Fun in the Park, and the Community Picnic.

🎉 We’re Making Progress! 🎉

Every dollar is bringing us one step closer to making our community a little safer! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Safe Path to the Park project so far. Your generosity is making a real difference, and we’re excited to see that thermometer continue to rise!

Join us this weekend at Spirit Fest for food, fun, and community spirit. All proceeds from the event will go toward funding the Safe Path to the Park, helping create a safer route for everyone to enjoy.

We’re looking for volunteers to help serve the community meal during Spirit Fest on Saturday, August 8, from 6:00–8:00 PM at West Side Park.

If you’re available to lend a hand for a couple of hours, we’d love to have you! It’s a great way to serve our community and be part of a fun evening.
