Last week the Kiwanis Club of Manhasset-Port Washington celebrated the 100th birthday and inspiring community service of Carl Lalena, as well as the community work of Kathy Walsh Levinson. As a club we are so grateful to the great community leaders who came to support our work -- Nassau County Comptroller, Elaine Phillips, Nassau County Legislator Delia DeRiggi-Whitton, TONH Supervisor Jennifer DeSena, TONH Councilwoman Mariann Dalimonte, and Receiver of Taxes Mary Jo Collins. Their words were kind and heartfelt. The generous Dejana Foundation was present -- our gratitude for this remarkable foundation cannot be overstated. Thank you to all who attended.
