Everyone had a great day today racing their Pinewood Derby Cars. A lot of time and effort went into cutting, sanding, and painting these fun cars. Special thanks to the Plaistow Fish & Game Club for continuing to allow our pack to hold this annual event at their facility. We'd also like to express our continued gratitude to the Plaistow, NH Lions Club for chartering our pack.

As you head to the grocery store this week, please remember to grab some non-perishable, unexpired food items for this coming Saturday's food drive at the Vic Geary Drop-In Center. Also, take a look in your own pantries for unused items (just make sure they're not expired). Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Plaistow, NH Lions Club members will be in the parking lot ready to unload your donations. Donations will be used to support the Lions Club - Power Pack Program and also for St. Luke's food pantry. Collections will be accepted from 9AM - 1PM on November 8. We look forward to helping our friends and neighbors during this season of uncertainty. Thank you in advance for your donations! See image below for requested items.

🚒🔥 A huge THANK YOU to the Amesbury Fire Rescue Department / Amesbury Fire Fighters IAFF Local 1783 for an amazing tour tonight with our Cub Scout Pack!

The scouts had a blast learning about fire safety, exploring the fire trucks, and meeting the brave firefighters. Your team was so welcoming, patient, and engaging that it made a big impact on our scouts and their families.

We truly appreciate the time you took to educate and inspire the next generation. You’re heroes in every sense of the word! 👩‍🚒🧯

AOLs from Pack 118 had an awesome weekend with Troop 18 at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation. This trip was an opportunity for them to meet our local Troop, work on multiple adventures, and see what Scouting America is all about! We even had an opportunity to participate in an international Jamboree on the Air / Jamboree on the Internet (JOTA/JOTI).

Plaistow Pack 118 is working on building up our Uniform Closet so we can help new and growing Scouts get the gear they need without the cost being a barrier.

If you have any gently used Cub Scout shirts, pants, neckerchiefs, or slides that aren’t being used, we’d love to give them a new home. We also accept other Scout gear.
