A huge thank you to everyone who came out, or helped to support the Su***de Prevention and Awareness Event yesterday in Rollinsford NH. NH Department Commander Myron Crossley did an outstanding Betheone presentation, including additions about video gaming by Mr Paul Evans and community supports by myself.
We may have canceled the ride, but that was not the most important part, coming together to show support for our veterans and the community for one of the most significant mental health issues in our country was the entire basis of yesterday's event. It wasn't about motorcycles, it wasn't about making a Legion money, it was about a team of people from 3 Legions and others from across the state of NH coming together in support of this one mission... and we all did it together to create positive change, make NH a healthier place for our veterans and their families, and of course support anyone we could that needed and still needs it.
This is what the American Legion is all about. We raised 2140.00 for betheone su***de prevention and assistance program which is incredible. But not only did we do that, we helped people who came to the event. So again, thank you to all who helped, came, participated, you ALL made this an amazing success!! 🇺🇲🙏💕

During the Vouchers for Veterans event the Legions involved collected food, for food pantries around the state of NH, Plaistow Chapter 34 dropped off food tonight to Holy Angel's Food Pantry in Plaistow NH! Thank you to all involved, who helped and donated in any way! 🇺🇸🙏💕
