It is with great sadness and a totally broken heart that I have to announce that The Abundant Living Project will not be able to reopen.
As you know, a new business itself takes some uphill work to become profitable and established. The timing of this whole situation was just the worst and we could not take on the major battle this became.
I would like to thank the community, fellow downtown business owners and Denise Terranova-Siegel with the city for welcoming me with such friendship and support. Denise, you worked so hard to put every grant, loan and assistance in front of me. You offered so much support as we launched. I appreciate all the hard work you put in before this and during.
I want to thank my vendors...the most wonderful women on the planet. I was proud to showcase your talents and your products. And you helped get this place into the beautiful space it is now. I have cried many tears knowing I need to walk away so soon.
My prayer is that this is a pause and not a good-bye. With too many unknowns in the near future (shopping trends, everyone’s safety, if I’ll still be homeschooling in the fall) I couldn’t take the heavy financial risk right now to renew our lease.
Plainwell, you are an amazing community and I am so grateful to have met those of you that I did. I’m so sorry I won’t be there to greet you this summer.
❤️,
Allison
