Hi. My name is Miranda. If you have volunteered in the past I am sure we have met. I have been a volunteer for AYSO for 11 years. In this 11 years, I have never had a season where I didn’t have to beg for coaches and refs. In this time I have done the job 6 people, because no one will help. I have done all this because I love providing a positive experience for the kids. Sports are so important for child development, and social skills.

Mary and I have been running this volunteer organization with 300 + kids. We have had help from several people, and while I appreciate all of the help we have received it has been 2-4 of us, training coaches, making teams, and schedules.

I am posting this because of all the negative comments. I want you to understand that we both work, and have 11 kids between us. But we made it work because of the kids.

I am asking all the parents to understand that this has been incredibly difficult for us. We are human and make mistakes, so there is no need for bashing us.

We have given all we have to AYSO. I am asking that you please step up and keep this program alive. If we can get positions filled, the jobs are easy. Many hands make light work. We need the following positions filled.

Regional commissioner
Registrar
Treasurer
Child volunteer protection advocate
Ref admin
Coach admin
Referees
Age range admins. (U6, U8, U10, interplay)

Ok well it's been a minute! If you were signed up in the fall and played you will be able to play this spring. Games start the 15th. U10 girls need a coach if we still even have enough to play. U10 boys Anthony team will be splitting up. DON'T MESSAGE THE INBOX FOR THIS PAGE I WILL NOT BE CHECKING IT!!
Fields need to be painted and refs are needed.

If you guys want to see this program stick around now is past the time you need to step up. The board is done. I personally will be staying around to help the new board get going but I will no longer be the board.

We made the difficult decision to not run a U8 program this season. Any U7/ U8 that paid will be reimbursed. We are sorry for the inconvenience, we just had a lack of volunteers and can’t run with out coaches. Thank you for understanding

Attention U6 and U8! I am in need of players to finish teams. Please log on to your AYSO account, select the cart icon and pay for your players. I am leaving this open till midnight tomorrow at that point we will make whatever teams we can.

After this spring season the following positions will be available. If they are not filled AYSO will no longer exist. If you are interested send a message. We can teach you what you need to know.

Positions available: Regional commissioner (RC)=president
: Registrar-takes care of setting up the registration
: Treasurer -paying dues to area, section and national, trash, porta john, field maintenance and anything needing to be reimbursed to people.
: Coach admin- find coaches, making sure they get trained.
: Ref admin- finding and scheduling refs, making sure refs are trained
: CVPA- safety of all kids and volunteers. Making sure all training is complete along with background checks. All rules being followed on the field. Incident reports filed.
Coordinators- U6, U8, U10, U12 and above- you make the teams and schedules!

U10 boys paul and Anthony teams. Please don't panic. This will be a very laid back game with lots of instructions given throughout the game. Ayso is learning and development! No need to freak out on the VOLUNTEER ref or coaches! If you choose to do so you will probably be ask to volunteer yourself or band from the fields!! Zero tolerance at our home fields will be accepted. Game will be stopped for unacceptable behavior. Thanks for your understanding stay in check!

U10 boys and girls one field has to be done by Saturday!!! It's an easy job! Many hands make light work. We got u12 field done in just about an hour if that helps you with time frame. I'm available during the day to show you where things are and help you get started tomorrow. Otherwise I'll be there around 5pm.

We are having a widespread issue with back ground checks. We can't do anything until this issue is resolved. We still don't have enough coaches. While we are waiting on the company that processes background checks to fix the issue we would love to find the last couple coaches needed to insure all kids can play. Thank you for your patience

All kids U10 and up need to be paid by Monday. If your child is not paid for in the system they will not be placed on a team.

Younger age groups have more time. We are hoping for a few more coaches so everyone can play!
