On Friday, 5/29, the Mid-Island Y JCC hosted a meaningful interfaith gathering bringing together members of the Hindu and Jewish communities, along with Israeli soldiers. The event highlighted connection, understanding, and solidarity across cultures.
As a heartfelt gesture, members of the Hindu community created and presented handmade bracelets for the visiting soldiers, symbolizing appreciation, support, and unity.
We are grateful for the opportunity to come together in community and continue building bridges through shared experiences and mutual respect.
