The Wilkes-Barre Area Creative and Performing Arts Academy Applications for the 2026-2027 School Year open March 2nd, 2026!
It is with great excitement for the 2026-2027 school year that The Wilkes-Barre Area School District Creative and Performing Arts Academy announce that on March 2, 2026, the application process will be open to all students, in current grades 8th thru 11th, interested in auditioning/interviewing for the Creative and Performing Arts Academy of the Wilkes-Barre Area School District in the following tracks: Music, Theatre Arts and Visual Arts.
The application will be open to all current WBA students and participating other districts.
All tracks of CAPAA are accepting more students than normal this year, as a result of the CAPAA expansion, so do not hesitate to apply!
The application deadline will be April 22, 2026.
When the application opens, on March 2, you must click the below link to access the application.
