We're writing with a key update on the TLM situation in the world overall, and a request for you to participate in an ongoing novena for the restoration of the Traditional Latin Mass in the Diocese of Helena.

FSSP News
Recently Pope Francis issued a decree clarifying the situation of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) in relation to Traditionis Custodes (TC). In the statement, Pope Francis states that the FSSP retains their faculties to live out the full liturgical life according to the books of 1962.

This news gives us some hope overall, and also another path to pursue in Montana.
We're working on an evaluation of how best to advocate for a FSSP presence in the Helena Diocese in the wake of this decree from Rome, and will reach out as soon as possible with recommended next steps for all of us. In the meantime, pray and fast for Bishop Vetter to be open to such a solution.
Final Mass (for now) At St. Richard in Columbia Falls
The final TLM at St. Richard will be this Sunday February 27th at 8AM. Please attend and fill your spiritual tank for the journey ahead, and thank Fr. Raftis for the fruitful few years of offering the Mass of the Ages.

1. Contact the Bishop: We urge you to respectfully but unabashedly contact Bishop Vetter and let him know your story and why you love the TLM, that you're requesting it back, and that you're praying for him. If you've already reached out and haven't heard back, follow up via phone at the Helena Diocese phone number: 406.442.5820. Make sure to ask 2 questions: 1) Did you receive my communication via email/mail? and 2) Was my communication provided to Bishop Vetter?
2. Ensure you provide your input on the Synodal "intake form" that the Helena Diocese has running. Nota bene: even if they don't listen, we can ensure they know we won't be just going away by filling out the form.
