We are overjoyed to report that our Journey Crew is absolutely crushing it out in the wilderness!! 🌾
Some of our staff had the opportunity to go and meet them in the midst of their adventure for a quick hello and check-in, where they are happy to say the group morale is high, smiles are everywhere and the team is looking good!!🥳
With only 13 days to go, we ask that you would keep them in your prayers as they push forward and continue to seek the Lord in the unknown.

🎿Alpine Ski Trip 2026!! 🎿

To say it was a blast would be an understatement.
Our Journey crew got to spend 4 epic days up at a local and loved home mountain to some of our staff
We are so lucky to get to continue an amazing relationship with the staff of this mountain, we truly feel so welcomed whenever we get the privilege to ski there!
•
We also would like to extend a huge thank you to Andy Smith & Scott Turner for talking time to come and teach ski lessons to Journey, And Margret Smith & Brianna Price for providing DELICIOUS hot meals all week!!
We couldn’t have done it without them!

To say it was a blast would be an understatement.
Our Journey crew got to spend 4 epic days up at a local and loved home mountain to some of our staff 🏔️
We are so lucky to get to continue an amazing relationship with the staff of this mountain, we truly feel so welcomed whenever we get the privilege to ski there!

We miss you guys!!

It’s been just over a week since we said goodbye to our amazing Journey crew for the holiday season!!
We are so blessed to have watched them grow this last semester and we can’t wait for January when we get to welcome them back.
Camp feels quiet without them. Please be praying for each of them as they are home, that they would find rest, that growth would continue and that they would still find moments to adventure.

🌿We spent the last two days of our trip on the Pacific coast to enjoy the sun, sand, and beauty as we reflected on the previous 2 weeks of travel. ⛰️
•
In looking back over the trip participants said “I’m realizing I have a lot to be grateful for.” “I want to value community and a slow pace of life.” “I want to be more hospitable.” “The people here are just so nice.” — We were abundantly blessed by the communities we were a part of and will miss them dearly.
•
Also during this time of celebration we got the amazing opportunity to explore Manuel Antonio National Park. There we saw sloths, monkeys, iguanas, beautiful blue water and white sand beaches!🌊☀️🌺🦥
•
What an incredible way to end such an impactful trip. Thank you for all of the support and prayers over our team, we are so grateful to have had such an amazing trip!!🌴

Costa Rica Part 2 – Cachi ⛰️☕️

Our time in Cachi was truly incredible! We miss the community that quickly began to feel like family. The local church welcomed us so warmly and showed us such generous hospitality. We had so many chances to experience everyday life in this beautiful town with the people who make it so special. Here’s a glimpse of what we did:
Throughout the week, we tested our futsal skills against some seriously talented locals. To be real, we gave it our best shot but still lost all five games 😅. We spent time in several schools helping with English lessons and PE, served the kids at a beautiful Costa Rican Christian camp, joined the youth group for an evening of worship and fun, and even hung out with the elderly community—playing games and, of course, a few lively rounds of BINGO! Not to mention the organic coffee farm tour and hike to an amazing waterfall!⚽️🌿☀️🌧️

Cachi always leaves a deep mark on our hearts, and this trip was no different. We already miss it!

Costa Rica part 1!!

The first leg of our Journey Crew’s trip to Costa Rica was nothing short of incredible! 🇨🇷 From trying new foods and dancing with locals, to navigating language barriers and diving into service projects at Camp McConnell (Our 1st incredible Host), every moment was rich with culture and connection. Oh, and did we mention the beautiful jungle mountain roads, some dinosaurs, and a volcano?? 🌋 What a beautiful reminder of how big and vibrant the world really is! 🌎✨

🌄 A few of our Journey crew have decided instead of sampling a little bit of everything, they’re specializing in all things rock!

🧗‍♂️They've spent the week learning more about knots and rope systems, practicing technique, and building trust with each other. This is one epic crew and we delight in watching them excel at what they love!!

Our Journey Crew = LEGENDS 🙌
They came home after an action-packed week on the Idaho–Montana state line, splitting into groups and tackling opposite routes full of adventure!!
•
From 5 alpine lakes to long hikes in the heat, this crew gave it their all. Every step showed perseverance, teamwork, and joy, even on the toughest days. 💪
•
But the best part? They slowed down in the midst of it all, journaling, asking hard questions, and leaning into the truth of who we are in Christ. ✨
•
It was an epic mix of adventure + community, and we’re so proud of how this crew showed up for each other and for what God was doing. 🌲🏔️
