Plains Community Ambulance will be offering CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support (BLS) courses through both the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross.

Available courses include:
• American Heart Association Heartsaver®
• American Heart Association BLS Provider
• American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

Classes are available for individuals, businesses, and organizations seeking initial certification or recertification. We can host training at our location or bring the training to your workplace or organization.

Thank you Two Bear Air Rescue!

Wednesday, July 29th - 12:04

PPRFD dispatched to assist PCA up Henry Creek Rd for a rescue assist of a logger who was cut with a chainsaw.

Update: PCA and PPRFD located the patent and Two Bear Air was requested. Two Bear arrived and hoisted the patient and transported him to Clark Fork Valley Hospital.

This week, Simulation in Motion-Montana hosted a Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course for EMS providers from across western Montana.

Using high fidelity mannequins and scenarios, Sim MT provides invaluable hands on training that prepares rural providers for critical trauma emergencies they may not encounter often. We are grateful for their commitment to strengthening rural EMS and to Plains Public Schools for generously allowing us to use the school as our training site. Opportunities like these help ensure we are better prepared to serve our communities when it matters most.
