We believe all people have the right to realize their full potential and opportunities to be successful. The purpose of the Carter Plains Foundation is to provide all people opportunities to succeed through community programs and services.

We are saddened by the passing of one of our Honorary Board member. Rosalynn was an amazing person who only wanted the best for everyone. She was a major influence and wealth of knowledge for our nonprofit. In fact, it was her and President Carter’s idea to start this amazing foundation to help eradicate substandard housing in their hometown. They knew they were spending their last days in Plai s and as they explained it -“We have helped the state, the country and the world. Now it’s time focus on our hometown.”
