🎃 Haunted Trail at Hay Burr Inn Equine Rescue & Sanctuary
Get ready for an evening of thrilling adventure and heartwarming hope at Hay Burr Inn Equine Rescue & Sanctuary! This isn't just a haunted trail. It's a chance to enjoy a spooky evening while supporting a great cause.
This is an all-weather event. Whether it's rain, snow, or moonlit skies, the scares go on. We do not cancel due to weather.
👻 Dare to Walk the Haunted Trail
Venture onto our half-mile haunted trail winding through the dark woods of the sanctuary. The best part? You choose your own path and your own level of fear!
The scares are located only along the spooky trail, allowing you to walk it more than once and challenge yourself with a different experience each time. With eerie lighting, strobe effects, and unexpected jump scares, every trip through the woods is a little different. No two nights are exactly the same!

🎭 Costumes Welcome
Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume and be sure to say hello to the amazing horses and donkeys you're helping support.
Our sanctuary residents were rescued from difficult situations and now enjoy lives filled with safety, peace, and care thanks to supporters like you. Your visit helps make that possible.
🧡 Fun for the Whole Family
We welcome ghouls, goblins, ghosts, and monsters of all ages! Whether you're a seasoned horror fan or a young adventurer looking for a few gentle thrills, there's a path for you.
Parental discretion is advised, but we strive to provide an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Important Information for Your Visit
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable evening for all guests, please review the following guidelines:
👟 Proper Footwear Required
For your safety, please wear sturdy shoes or boots.
No sandals, flip-flops, or high heels are permitted for adults or children.
🚭 No Smoking or Alcohol
Smoking, va**ng, and alcohol are not permitted anywhere on the property, including the parking area.
🐾 Please Leave Pets at Home
To help prevent cross-contamination and ensure the safety of our resident equines, personal animals are not permitted on the property.
🚪 Arrival Information
When you arrive, please wait for the red gate to be opened. The gate helps keep our horses safe and secure.
