We loved hosting Chef Jimmy Kennedy’s pop up breakfast at Goddard this past Sunday. It felt like a little revival of River Run spirit, familiar faces, warm plates, and a dining hall full of good energy. Thanks to everyone who came out. We’re already looking forward to the next one.

We loved having the Green Mountain Playwright Retreat on campus this summer, bringing together playwrights for a few days devoted to writing, conversation, and creative community.

They’ll return October 15-18 for 4 days of writing at Goddard during one of the most beautiful times of year in Vermont.

It was a joy to welcome the CWC - Clockhouse Writers' Conference back to Goddard.

Eighteen Goddard MFAW alumni returned to campus for five days of writing, workshops, readings, reflection, and time together. Since 1997, Clockhouse has continued the Goddard tradition of writers learning from one another and supporting each other’s work.

We loved seeing this community back on campus, reconnecting with old friends, meeting new ones, and continuing a tradition that began at Goddard nearly 30 years ago.
