Mark your calendars!

Good Thursday morning, Plainfield!

The Plainfield Lions Club is incredibly fortunate to have our very own resident bourbon expert, Lion Ken Beckman! For years, Lion Ken has generously donated all of the bourbon we have auctioned off at our Meat Madness events.

A year ago, Ken promised he would do the impossible for this year's live auction: find and donate a complete Blanton’s Bourbon set. If you know Ken, you know he gets the job done—and he did exactly that!

Thank you, Lion Ken Beckman, for your continued dedication and service to our Plainfield community.

We look forward to seeing everyone for Meat Madness 2026!

Once again, we will be raffling off the best cuts of meat in town from Tischler's Market.

• Eagle Rare (2 bottles)
• Weller Special Reserve (1 bottle)
• Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch (1 bottle)
• Booker's Small Batch (1 bottle)

The Grand Finale: A Complete Blanton's Bourbon Set
Introduced in 1999, each signature metal stopper features a distinct figurine of a racehorse and jockey captured in a specific stride. When arranged in chronological order, the poses mimic the progress of a live horse race, from standing in the starting gates to crossing the finish line in victory. Each individual stopper is stamped with a single letter on the lower-left side to spell out B-L-A-N-T-O-N-S. This complete set of eight will be auctioned off together as a single lot on the day of the event.

We are looking ook forward to seeing YOU November 1st at Uptown Plainfield at 12:00 NOON as we make som “BIG DOUGH” for Plainfield Charities!
