Hello Dreams Come True people! If you didn't know, the second Sunday in September is pet Memorial Day. If anyone would like to add your pet's name, I will be painting rocks and adding them to the Rainbow Bridge garden in the rescue's front yard. Courtesy post for my friends in Mississippi...Meet Comet! This big, goofy guy is a sweetheart! Big cuddler, kid and dog friendly, loves everyone, but is a little too curious about cats. Thoughts are he is a Boxer/Heeler mix, neutered, fully vaccinated, and about 2 years old. If anyone is looking for a great guy, please reach out, I can pass your questions and information on to my rescue partners. Let's find this guy a great home! Thank you!

Happy Sunday all! Both of our little low-rider cuties, Mecole and Maxwell have been adopted! I will miss those little legs, their spicy personalities, and their fearless senses of adventure. We hope to get updates, and look forward to seeing them grow up. Have a great life little ones!

BEST NEWS EVER!!! Heidi, the beautiful gray girl on death row from Georgia is heartworm negative! She will be spayed and chipped, then headed North to us! ❤️ Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers!

What better way to spend the day than visiting us at PetSmart in West Leb today with little Mecole at noon (her namesake got a touchdown yesterday during Buffalo's win!) There are 14 squares left for the $1000 50/50 raffle. If you've been following lately, you know I'll be be using this money to help save Heidi from Georgia who was set to be euthanized Friday. Saved her just in time! ❤️ Winner for the raffle will be chosen live when the last squares are full. She is safe!!! I'm literally crying, thank you for all your prayers and support! Still no heartworm test...if she is positive I will use the money from the 50/50 raffle and my spare credit card to board her somewhere safe during treatment. Thinking positively if she is HW negative she will be here as soon as we can get her a health certificate. I can now breathe a little easier :)

PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE send every good thought our way! I have never had to fight so hard to pull a dog from a high kill shelter before. The rescue people and coordinators have been great...the Clayton County Animal Control in Georgia would rather euthanize a dog than give it a $20 heartworm test. We are trying to come up with a plan to save this poor girl, if you've seen her video in my previous post you can tell how sweet she is, so please keep us in your thoughts...this is literally breaking my heart
