The Hearing Lions was founded in 1995 by Duane Wass of the New Palestine Lions Club in New Palestine, Indiana. He has been helped along the way by John Pickett, Charlie Robinette, Deb Drewry, Dani Land, Aureliano Jauregui, Eduardo Jauregui, and many others over the years.
