The 2026 Gingerbread Christmas Application for vendors is now available. This years event will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2026. Applications will be accepted until July 1, 2026. All applicants will be notified by the beginning of September of their status.

Please note: Gingerbread Christmas is a handmade, handcrafted vendor event. If you have any questions, please email the committee at [email protected].

We are thrilled to again send grant awards to organizations around our Plainfield community and to support programs at our Plainfield schools. Scholarship awards are soon to follow. This year's proceeds of just over $32,000 from Gingerbread Christmas (YOUR $5 admission + booth rental fees) enable us to support many needs!

We'd like to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful attendees and vendors Saturday!! The proceeds from our event support Scholarships for Plainfield High School Seniors and many community needs. Local organizations seeking financial support may complete our brief Grant Application by December 31st. Funds will be provided in March 2026.

Have you heard about our Raffle during Gingerbread Christmas?! Our 140 vendors each contribute an item that you can win! Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Raffle tables are located near the gymnasium and concessions. Winners are notified during the event by text message.

We hope you are excited and ready to shop our amazing selection of vendors next Saturday! As you plan for your day, be aware that for the SAFETY of all shoppers, WAGONS or CARTS are NOT allowed at our event. Strollers are also strongly discouraged for your child's safety. Enter Plainfield High School at doors 21 (north), 7 (south) or 1 (east) starting at 9 am. Looks for the Gingerbread men!!

At times, we are asked why we charge a $5 admission to our show. As the main fundraiser for Plainfield Tri Kappa, the admission and booth rental fees enable us to support our community. Proceeds from the Dec. 2024 show provided four $2000 scholarships to graduating Plainfield seniors, funds for the Plainfield school nurses (who see so many children in need), support to the Plainfield Bands, Show Choirs and Art programs, and numerous other not for profits in our community.

Our grant application form assists us in identifying organizations with needs in our community. If you are affiliated with an organization in the Plainfield area, check it out.

The Gingerbread Christmas shopping event in Plainfield, Indiana, boasts more than 100 booths of juried, handmade gift ideas under one roof the first Saturday in December.
