Our Division 8 Cheer & Dance teams took home 🥇 FIRST PLACE at the Impact Cheer & Dance Competition in Toms River, NJ!

From start to finish, these athletes brought the energy, confidence, and teamwork that defines what it means to be a Viking. Every count, every motion, every moment on that mat—they gave it their ALL 💪🔥

This win didn’t just happen… it came from hard work, long practices, and dedication. We are beyond proud of this group!

Dear Plainfield Vikings Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of a great man, a devoted father, a proud cheer dad, and a true supporter of our organization. During this very difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Omar Chandler.

Omar meant so much to so many of us, but above all, his children were the most important part of his life. As we grieve his passing, we hold them close in our hearts.

A special tribute honoring Omar will be shared soon. Until then, please keep his family in your prayers as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

Our Division 6 team stepped onto the Nationals stage for the very first time ever, and they made it COUNT. This is the first year Nationals has even offered a D6 division, and our girls were part of HISTORY.

They performed with confidence, joy, and so much heart — showing that even our youngest athletes can shine on the biggest stage. Every motion, every smile, every count showed how hard they’ve worked all season long.

For their first Nationals experience, they absolutely made Plainfield proud. This is only the beginning for this amazing group!
