Cub Scout Pack 394 are prepared this morning to help open door and offer trash bags and popcorn for sale. $12/roll & $20/bag of popcorn.

Time for our Welcome Back Scouts Campfire Program during our first Pack meeting of the 23/24 season.

Pack Meeting - Doors open at 6:00. Program starts promptly at 6:30. Please allow enough time to get in, receive this year’s family packet, boats, etc. and in the bleachers before 6:30. We will give out awards first and learn about popcorn season. I hear we’ve hit another milestone.

Kids then will head outside for a fun filled evening.

At the campfire program, they will have fun with songs, skits, and dancing with our Den Chief and a few scouts from local Troops 307 and 97.

Scouts will also receive any awards they earned over the summer, receive their raingutter regatta boat,

Kids can bring a lawn chair if they’d like.

Before or after the meeting will be time for picking up popcorn starter kits and finalize registration.

Several cub scouts and their families came together for our nature hike Sodalis Park in Plainfield. Many earned their hiking requirement for their rank.

We saw a snake and a huge spider. Scouts learned about berries and plants they should look out for.

Four Arrow of Light scouts and a Webelo scout took over Camp Kikthawenund this past week.

They challenged themselves with fishing, archery, air rifles, canoeing, team building activities, performed a skit, swimming, and had a friendly water/sponge fight.

They were exhausted when it was over but they said they want to go back and do even more!
