The Plainfield Club recently held our annual Officer Induction & Gavel Exchange Ceremony for the 2026/2027 year, during our monthly club meeting at St Matthews Lutheran Church. Celebrating the leadership and service that help keep our club strong and active in the community.

As we pass the gavel and begin a new lions year, we look forward to continuing our mission of service, fellowship, and making a positive impact.

🌟 May Student of the Month – Congratulations, Alexis Mattern! 🌟

The Plainfield Lions Club is proud to recognize Alexis Mattern as our May Student of the Month. Alexis is a senior at Big Spring High School and Cumberland-Perry Vo-Tech, where she has demonstrated a strong commitment to education through both a preschool co-op placement and a kindergarten internship.

In addition to her academic achievements, Alexis works part-time and plans to attend Shippensburg University to pursue a degree in Education. We congratulate Alexis on this well-deserved honor and wish her continued success in all her future endeavors!

Service was provided by the Plainfield PA Lions Club with Roadside Cleanup and by various Lions providing service at the local Family Y and at the new Wellspan Micro-Hospital. Photos are at the Wellspan Event.

Interested individuals are requested to assemble at the West Pennsboro Fire Company, located at 20 Park Road, Plainfield, PA, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 9:00 AM. Your participation will contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of our community.
